how to display full length frontpage in drupal

version: drupal 8.1 to 8.3 tested

problem:front page is a "teaser" with a read more link and a full length page is wanted.

solution: navigate in the admin panel as follows: structure > views > frontpage > format > show:

change from teaser to Full content
